A Personal Website Design System
Will it really help me? Why do I need one? What should it contain? How will it be created and managed?All valid questions and honestly I don’t know the answers to them. I have thoughts but nothing concrete. My feelings are that I do need a Style Guide as a reference to view color, typography, grid, icon, etc. standards. Maybe it’s best to call the Style Guide a Design System to future proof my work in case it grows into something else. Maybe it’s over thinking things and Design Systems are best suited for Apps. For now I’ll call it a Design System and see where it goes.
